* / HISTORY[/b] If it weren't for Jennifer Anne White, Val would be in the eating disorders clique, rather than a caring therapist. Val was born into money, into parents who only wanted to show her off like a trophy. She earned straight A's, competed and won in beauty pageants, and worked harder to keep her perfect appearance than any child ever should. Than any person should. When she was sixteen, and still focused on keeping her parents happy, she began to find comfort in food. She over-indulged, always craving that feeling of the food in her mouth. Val was never satisfied, and over a short period of time put on a lot of weight.
Her parents noticed, as did she, and they limited the amount of food she was allowed to have, and increased how much she worked out. She still found a way to get what she wanted, and her parents finally went so far as to give her diet pills. She felt disgusting, and ugly and began to puke up the food she ate, letting it become a routine. She could be happy, and be thin. It seemed foolproof. It seemed like everyone but her parents knew, yet only one person gave a damn; her mother's twin sister, Jennifer. She spoke to Val logically, while also letting the girl lash out, if was like a therapy session to get out sixteen years of pent up anger. It worked. She began to eat less, now having her aunt there for her, and not feeling the need to eat so much anymore. She stopped taking the pills as well, and began to care less and less about pleasing her parents.
By the time she was eighteen Val was set on what she wanted to do in life, and that was to help people who needed it. She went to school for four years to become a therapist, and through the grapevine ended up at Stanfield. She's never been great at understanding crazies, or violent people, but she tries her hardest to understand the reason they are the way they are, and generally that makes her pretty good at dealing with them. She's better at helping suicidals, phobia's, and eating disorders. Val understands what it's like to be in a lot of pain. In fact, she sometimes finds her self back in that pain, but now she's got more important things to worry about: Her patients. They are number one for her.[/size][/blockquote][/blockquote]
