he doesn't have a specific condition, but he's considered crazy because of the stupid things he does. the stunts he pulls. he does things that could kill him and he doesn't really care about it. he was almost put in stanfield for suicidal reasons -- those being the reasons (not caring) but it came down to him being here for acting crazy.

unfortunately, harlow was born the way that he is now. yes, crazy. but it was a different kind of crazy when he was a child. a normal kind of crazy. in a way it was normal, and not normal. he has two fathers - named alexander and nick - and they raised him since he was a baby. his real father is nick and because ... well, gay couples can't have children. so they decided to find a women (who happened to be a lesbian) to have a child for them. basically, harlow was a in vitro baby. he doesn't care about that fact now. at least he's alive. harlow has never really met his mother. okay, so maybe he met her once when he was fifteen. he doesn't see her anymore. he wondered if she even liked him. maybe that's why she doesn't have the effort to see him anymore.
harlow is closest to his father, alexander. alexander is an architect and nick is a doctor. harlow finds that he had much more in common with alexander and he had more of a mothering personality - and nick was more of the father. dominant. harlow always snickered at that though. he felt like he could talk to alexander about anything. that was until it was alex's idea to send him to stanfield. he was the mothering figure - and he cared about harlow. so that is why he's here. harlow has a bad time with him every time his father's come to visit, but he knows he shouldn't. he - they only care. that's why he needs to keep cool. and at least try to get better. harlow does not think that's going to happen anytime soon, though.
