* / HISTORY[/b] Born in Boulder, Colorado she grew up as a normal child for most of her young life. Her father worked as a local policeman with very narrow views of the world. Her mother taught piano lessons to smaller children along with working part time at a flower shop. They were happy, as happy as small family could be. Little Emily spent most of her time with her brother and they were as close as siblings could be. When he got his license he took his little sister out to get ice cream to celebrate. Emily was bugging him about his new girlfriend causing him to take his eyes off the road. A truck ended up sliding into the side of the car after loosing control of his vehicle. Before the ambulance arrived the car had flipped over and she watched her brother die in front of her.
Her father, who had adored his son blamed Emily for his death. Her mother tried to reason with her husband but he always held that grudge against her. Emily was extremely scarred by the experience and refused to see a therapist. Slowly the experience started to eat away at her. She felt like if she could just predict the future nothing bad would ever happen. Emily started to seriously study the topic and became obsessed with it. Suddenly she started to space out and tell someone that was going to happen. At times she got lucky and it would come true, but for the most part the predictions were a little off. Around the same time she started to see her brother appear to her. At the age of fifteen she was dropped off at the asylum by her father in the middle of the night and she's been there ever since without any visits from either her mother nor father.[/size][/blockquote][/blockquote]
