due to a traumatic experience that is explained in her history, cinna has two separate personalities.
there is cinna, who used to be a snotty rich brat, but now lives in fear of her other personality, which she has labeled 'dark cinna'. she is terrified at the sight of blood, darkness, and if someone touches her, she will let out an ear piercing shriek. she also refuses to be left alone most of the time, because that is when her 'dark self' comes on.
dark cinna is the side of cinna that believes that she is a vampire. she yearns for blood and attacks anyone who "smells good." she avoids daylight and claims she will burn up in the sun, and will wander around the dark hallways of the school at night, searching for prey. Strangely, this side is actually more sane than Cinna, and can actually hold a conversation without shaking and/or crying.

screams, dark cinna enjoys it when people are scared of her
mind games, dark cinna will often act innocent and sweet to get someone alone with her. cinna's large brown eyes and blonde hair help make her appear absolutely child-like and beautiful.
conversation, despite being a vampire, dark cinna enjoys socializing, and she will often go to the common room and try to socialize with those who do not know what cinna is really like.[/ul]

robyn laurier and jennifer delonge met when they were only children, both attending the same elementary school. jennifer was robyn's best friend's younger sister, and he felt only brotherly affection for her as they grew up. it wasn't until he was in college, and she was a senior in high school that they finally got together, even though she had loved him for years.[/size][/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote]
robyn came from a wealthy family, and he himself became a business man. he and jennifer had a large condo in toronto, and their children were both spoiled from birth, by them, and everyone around them. both children were blonde and beautiful, and they learned how to use their light looks to manipulate those around them. the laurier siblings were close growing up, manipulating everyone, including their parents to believe that they were innocent, when the reality was that they were shoplifting, drinking, partying, and in william's case, joining strange groups of people who had odd ideas on how the world should work.
the laurier siblings remained close until cinna was fourteen, and her brother was seventeen. then william began acting strangely, and she didn't want him to bring down her popular reputation with his weird hobbies. he began sleeping the day away and doing out at night, visiting a club he refused to tell anyone the name of. cinna did not try to figure out what was going on with her brother, and instead abandoned him for her group of pretty, blonde, cheerleader friends.
it was a monday evening, and the siblings were alone in the house. cinna was studying for a french test that was second period the next day, and she believed william was sleeping, until there was a knock on her door. when she responded, william came in and breathlessly told her of a dark world she had no idea about, that vampires were real, and that the feeling of being one was incredible. cinna laughed it off and insulted her brother, mocking everything he spoke to her about just moments before. in anger, her brother attacked her, injecting her with whatever drug he had, raping her, and even "sucking" her blood.
he left her in an alleyway, where she was found and rushed to the hospital, where she remained unconscious for four days. when she awoke, she wasn't cinna delilah laurier, captain of the cheer leading squad, manipulative and cruel. the doctors called her a psychopath. she called herself a vampire. and after killing one of her nurses, she was sent to the asylum, where she will most likely remain for the rest of her life, with only herself for company.
